Dr. David Shorter's Energetic Practice
David has been certified as given Gokui Kaiden, the highest level of Gendai Reiki Ho.
He is recognized as an Usui Reiki "Master" of the Gendai Reiki Healing Association.
David was attuned by Hiroshi Doi Sensei (President, Gendai Reiki Healing Association).
Hiroshi Doi Sensei is currently the president of the original
organization started by Master Usui Sensei. David's final
attunement was in Ashiya, Japan, in May of 2018.
David is also a Minister in the Universal Life Church,
available as such for baptisms, marriages, or as a death
doula. He has been regularly consulted for energetic
matters, including helping clarify non-physical influences
on people and places.
Due to renovations to the studio, most human and animal
reiki sessions are either mobile or "distance healing." To
arrange for an "in home" visit at your place, please prepare
as quiet a space as possible with room to lie down. In studio visits
may be allowed depending on situation.
In the Light Reiki is located in Van Nuys, California.
The private studio is just off the 405, between
Vanowen and Sherman Way. Studio currently closed
for renovations.
